#FengShuiTip - Winding Walkway - June 8, 2016

Good day! What a difference flowers make! Remember, feng shui begins outside (kind of like how my college friend's father used to say "dress better and you feel better", and, in the acting world, it's a similar concept to getting into a character physically first, vs internally~ but that all depends on one's method and that's a whole other conversation)! In classical feng shui, chi (energy) flows from the outside into your home~ so you want it to be graceful and not rushed. If you have a split pathway, plant some flowing bushes to "hide" the split, so your chi won't be confused and go in different directions (you want it to gently flow, and not divide). Speaking of splits, I love doing standing split and half-moon yoga poses! Haha! As I approach a "big birthday" next month, I notice some interesting lessons and transitions in life (cue up Rachel Platten's "Fight Song" haha!); If you view her video, notice that the landscapes and nature scenes exude and ooze abundant, bursting Feng shui. With the momentum of the new moon and new month (and approaching the energy of a new season) it is a lovely time to re-dedicate yourself (without judgment) to something important to you and your loved ones. Maybe it's repeating affirmations (I love affirmations; They work so well! I heard a bit of a program on NPR reminding me of them this week). I know it's super-early but I want to give an enormous shout out to my hardworking, smart, strong, protective, caring, genuine, amazing (and handsome 😘) husband for Father's Day! You lead by such a loving example for our kiddos and for me! ❤️ And do you know, he recently included a slide (in a course that he taught) about how my Feng shui skills have helped him to be a better bartender and grow his business all the more? What a guy! ❤️ Good wishes with your pathway. Remember to keep it flowing (so, if your walkway feels like a straight, boring concrete highway, add some potted plants to visually slow down the chi). Enjoy your day! 💕 www.yourfengshuiguru.com ‪#‎fengshui‬ ‪#‎fengshuitips‬ ‪#‎fengshuitip‬ ‪#‎pathway‬ ‪#‎walkway‬ ‪#‎garden‬ ‪#‎pottedplants‬ ‪#‎flowers‬ ‪#‎flow‬ ‪#‎standingsplit‬ ‪#‎halfmoon‬ ‪#‎newmoon‬ ‪#‎meander‬ ‪#‎yoga‬ ‪#‎hopeyoga‬ ‪#‎herbs‬ ‪#‎chives‬ ‪#‎scents‬ ‪#‎bartender‬ ‪#‎purple‬ #abundance #gritisgood
